RS adjusts its goal for LifeStar to 500% growth Cashing in over a billion baht as health and beauty industry is on the rise

As the health and beauty industry rises, RS adjusts its goal for LifeStar this year, as it is expected to grow by 500% compared to last year, generating over 1.1 billion baht. Recently, it has entered the instant coffee industry by releasing "SOM CMax" to target male consumers. The new product is expected to generate 200 million baht by the end of this year.

Pornpan Techarungchaikul, COO of RS Public Company Limited, said that the company is on the right track as the health and beauty industry continues to flourish. Therefore, it has adjusted the goal for LifeStar, its subsidiary company, to 500% compared to last year's revenue, which was 220 million baht. LifeStar is expected to generate 1.1 billion baht by the end of the year. In the first quarter, it reached 2016's annual revenue, or 50% of the target of 440 million baht. The future looks very promising, as orders continued to pour in from old customers, while new ones have also expressed their interest.

As for the business plan for the second half of the year, it will continue with the Synergize All Dimensions strategy and focus on telesales through its Call Center 1781. Meanwhile, it will spend 30 million baht to launch 15 new products under its three brands – Magique skincare brand, Revive hair care brand, and S.O.M (Science of Body&Mind) food supplement. It is also negotiating with new partners in Myanmar to expand overseas. Deals are expected to be finalized by the end of this year and operation is expected to begin in 2018.

Dr Chakrit Pichyangkul, managing director of LifeStar, said the company introduced SOM CMax instant coffee for men who want to live their lives to the max. The coffee contains chong cao, ginseng, and black galingale to increase the yang energy and adjust the body's balance and male hormones, while date and hawthorn berry promote better blood flow and energy. It is free from added sugar and trans fat. The product is now available online at www.shop1781.com and Call Center 1781. In the future, it will be sold through modern trade outlets and pharmacies.

The product uses actress Mai Sukhonthawa Kerdnimit as its presenter. The product targets men age 35+ who want to live their lives to the max and boost their performance. There will be online activities and home shopping activities to increase brand awareness and encourage product purchase. Right now, there's a special campaign, pay only 990 baht for two boxes from originally 1,780 baht. The campaign is until June 30. The product is expected to generate 200 million baht by the end of the year.
