On the full moon night of Friday, 3 November 2017, Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok prepares to celebrate Loy Krathong Festival in the theme of "An Evening in Old Siam" at its prime location along the Chao Phraya River.

Guests will experience the scenic pleasure of a charming old Thai atmosphere amidst a beautiful tropical garden and enjoy a Loy Krathong ceremony highlighting a culinary journey of delicious dishes from around the world and authentic specialties from four regions of Thailand. The magical celebration will be completed by performances from Jonas and Christie, fun-filled spectacular shows, raffle prizes, an extravagant fireworks display over the Chao Phraya River and krathong floating to make the event a memorable night. Riverfront Poolside

The charming setting of the Riverfront Poolside is the perfect venue to enjoy great entertainment by Jonas and Christy, "The Drum Battle" by the Ongsasilp Group by Tuck Napassakorn Mitiam and friends, Thai classic folk dances, a Thai boxing show and the Miss Noppamas contest. Guests will be dazzled by a fabulous dinner featuring international buffet and delicacies from four regions of Thailand. Horizon Cruise

Guests can enjoy an international deluxe buffet dinner while cruising along the Chao Phraya River and watching the fireworks display, as well as floating their krathong on the river. Bt5,500 net for adults and Bt2,750 net for children*

NEXT2 Cafe

From this delightful riverside setting, guests can watch all action on the river and televised entertainment from the main stage. The restaurant offers a massive array of international dishes at the buffet and sumptuous desserts from which to choose.

Salathip

The restaurant prepares a Thai set dinner for guests to savour in the beautiful riverside Thai pavilions while being entertained by charming Thai dancers. They can enjoy the a la minute taste of Thai dishes from live stations, such as Tom Yum Goong, Thai BBQ, Thai Salad and Thai desserts, with main courses – Sukhothai Set or Ayutthaya Set - served at the table.

The restaurant presents an exquisite Italian set dinner, prepared with the best local and imported ingredients, to celebrate the full moon night of Loy Krathong.
