Ploenchit Fair is arguably the largest Fair in Asia, is a traditional day for all the family and has been one of the biggest events of the social calendar in Bangkok since it was first held in the British Embassy in 1957 – making this year the Fair's Diamond Jubilee! For 60 years, the Fair has been held annually (originally located on the British Embassy Grounds, Ploenchit Road), and raises money to support Thai Charities in Thailand under the B.C.T.F.N Foundation (British Community in Thailand for the Needy). Today the Fair is a fully international event supported by the international and Thai community in Bangkok.

A one-day event full of activities and attractions for all ages. There is live stage entertainment, international food and drink, and many games and thousands of prizes to be won for all the family. While kids are enjoying a variety of play stations or extreme game with dads, mums can hit the shopping areas including stalls set up by many of the charities we support to sell their arts and crafts.

It is an ideal event for friends and families to come together to enjoy a happy day whilst supporting the needy in Thailand.

Through this event, the B.C.T.F.N Foundation supports varied charities and we encourage self-help projects, agricultural, educational and medical projects. The support reaches the whole country including Nakon Sawan, Mai Hong Son, Bangkok, Betong, Pattaya, Chiang Mai, Mukkdhan, No Boh, Nong Khai and much more.

Would you wish to help? The Foundation's main source of funding is raised at the annual Fair. In turn international and local companies donate funds, goods used as prizes at the Fair and the Foundation is supported by individual donations. For everyone who wants to support the Foundation attending the Fair always helps, or you or contact the BCTFN office to make a personal donation.

All proceeds of the Fair are used to support charity requests and up to this year, the Foundation has raised over 60 million baht to assist these worthy causes.
