Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok will celebrate Vegetarian Food Festival by delighting diners with non-meat cuisine containing plenty of nutrition and deliciousness at Shang Palace Chinese Restaurant and Salathip Thai Restaurant from 20 to 28 October 2017.

Chinese Executive Chef Chow Wai Man of Shang Palace has created an authentic spread of non-meat dishes with flavourful combinations from his extensive cooking experience and his creativity. Guests may tempt their taste buds and satisfy their cravings with his Vegetarian creations ranging from starters, main dishes to desserts from 200++ baht to 380++ baht per dish. Celebratory dishes include Vegetarian Dim Sum Platter; Deep-Fried Taro Fish served with Sweet and Sour Sauce; Braised Spinach Soup with Bean Curd; Sauteed Asparagus and Two Kinds of Mushroom with Chili Sauce; Wok-Fried Cashew Nut with Water Chestnuts and Gingko; Fried Rice with Mix Vegetables and Ginger; and many more delicious dishes.

Alternatively, Thai food lovers can savour a sumptuous vegetarian set menu with a creative presentation at 990++ baht per set in Salathip with classical Thai teak pavilion surroundings located in a riverside garden next to the Chao Phraya River. The menu highlights its tapestry of flavours by using premium quality ingredients, which include Pomelo Salad with Crispy Textured Vegetable; Thai Coconut Mushroom and Tofu Soup; Steamed Cabbage with Tofu; Corn Cake with Chili, Garlic and Holy Basil; Thai Curry Vegetable Custard; and Mango Sticky Rice with Coconut Ice Cream. Live traditional Thai dances perform nightly from 7:45 to 9:30 p.m.
