Bangkok's favourite trattoria-style eatery – Biscotti at Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel – has served up contemporary Italian cuisine for almost two decades, from its signature focaccia with mascarpone and truffle oil to homemade ossobuco ravioli. Renowned for its fresh flavours and casual ambience, Biscotti was awarded The Plate distinction in the inaugural Bangkok Michelin Guide.

New offerings have now been added to the menu, courtesy of Chef de Cuisine Andrea Buson. Chef Andrea hails from Venice, bringing with him a plethora of rich flavours for which the region is known. He trained at the prestigious IPSSAR Pietro d'Abano in Padova before honing his skills in establishments around Italy. Chef Andrea first moved to Asia in 2010, working at luxury resorts before opening highly renowned Italian restaurants in Luang Prabang and Langkawi.

New creations that now feature on Biscotti's menu include Chef Andrea's twist on the traditional caprese – grilled scallops with cream of buffalo mozzarella, a cherry tomato confit and pate of Liguria olives; a Venetian risotto based on his grandmother's recipe of peas, pancetta, seared foie gras and Parmesan; and a personal favourite, wild-caught Sockeye salmon seared with Bronte's pistachio pesto, cherry tomato and purple potato.

Savour Chef Andrea's new dishes amongst family or friends in a relaxed setting. Biscotti is open daily for lunch (11.30 am – 2.30 pm) and dinner (6.00 pm – 10.30 pm).
