Dine on Delicious River Prawns at Up & Above Restaurant

The talented chefs at The Okura Prestige Bangkok's Up & Above Restaurant have come up with a summer treat. On the à la carte menu throughout May and June are taste sensations starring river prawns. As part of a piquant soup or heady curry, simply steamed, fried to perfection, or grilled in the traditional way, the succulent fresh-water crustaceans are given pride of place in dishes such as Goong Mae-Nam Tod Ka Tiam - fried river prawns with garlic and pepper Goong Mae-Nam Tom-Yam - spicy and sour soup with river prawns, Goong Mae-Nam Chu-Chee - fried river prawns served with red curry sauce, Goong Mae-Nam Nung See-Eiw - steamed river prawns with soy sauce, spring onion and sesame oil, and lastly classic grilled river prawns served with smoked eggplant, potatoes, citrus, and garlic butter.

The river prawn promotion is available daily from 12 p.m. – 10:30 p.m., 1 May – 30 June 2018, at Up & Above Restaurant. A la carte dishes are priced from Baht 780++.
