Wacoal introduces souvenir collection designed by Kru Toh to raise funds for needy breast cancer patients

In its 18th year, the Wacoal Pink Ribbon breast cancer awareness campaign has introduced a special four-item souvenir collection designed by renowned artist ML Chiratorn "Kru Toh" Chirapravati, who has taken part in the campaign through the years. The general public are encouraged to be part of the campaign by purchasing the souvenirs in order to raise funds for breast cancer-related activities, medical equipment procurement, and treatment of underprivileged breast cancer patients.

Thai Wacoal Plc has played an active role in raising awareness of the danger of breast cancer for 18 consecutive years through the Wacoal Pink Ribbon campaign which includes a wide variety of social benefit activities and donations to support breast cancer-related research. Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Thai women, and statistics of the National Cancer Institute show that 12,613 new patients, or 34.5 persons per day, were diagnosed in 2011.

The 2018 Wacoal Pink Ribbon Souvenir collection comes in classic beige colour theme, comprising a V-neck 100% cotton T-shirt (260 baht); a UV protection coated folding umbrella (290 baht); a shopping bag with two-sided printed pattern, good quality lining and convenient inside pocket (450 baht); and a portable bag with printed pattern, lining and wrist strap (250 baht).
