Kerry Express (Thailand) Limited announces that it has ordered over 8,000 new 4-wheel trucks and motorcycles to tag along the company's expansion plan in 2018 and 2019.

The new vehicles will be deployed in Bangkok as well as all up-country provinces in Thailand, according to a source from Kerry Express.

Kerry Express delivery vehicles are very eye-catching in sharp orange colour and commuters can always see them traveling around the country.

"Our Q1 delivery volume has grown 121% on a year-on-year basis," said Warawut Natpradith, Deputy General Manager of Kerry Express, "and we continue to have a strong demand in new, practical and economical delivery vehicles. Kerry Express has one of Thailand's biggest fleets by far."

This new investment will allow Kerry Express to replace part of the old fleet, and to add over 5,000 new delivery routes to the company network all over the country. Kerry Express is the only delivery company which can cover nearly everywhere in Thailand by its next-day delivery service.

The company had earlier announced an investment of 1.8B baht on its nationwide retail network and Bangkok Sameday service, and revised its targeted number of services points from 1,500 locations to 2,500 locations by the end of 2018.

Kerry Express is also opening more distribution centres, building more mega-size sorting centres and recruiting more people to enhance its people's network.

Kerry Express is now Thailand's leading parcel delivery company with a strong focus on delivering small parcels to the size up to 30kg per package. It's delivering more than 750,000 parcels per day. Kerry's popular next-day (ND) service can bring packages to nearly 100% of places in Thailand within one day. Kerry is also a leading operator of cash-collection (COD) service – it provides recipients with options of paying for the product by cash or by QR payment via Rabbit LinePay upon deliveries.
