Dr. Wit Soontaranun, (3rd left) the Director of Blue Carbon Society (BCS), a Thailand-based association dedicated to the well-being of marine and coastal environments, was invited by the Office of Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and Planning (ONEP) to share BCS's partnership vision for preserving biodiversity. Dr. Nawarat Krairapanond, Director of the Bureau of the Environmental Fund, also attended the panel discussion on 'Financial Mechanisms for Managing Biodiversity' at The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam along with international environmentalists such as Dr. Jessica Alvsilver, Mr. Surapol Dungkhare, and Mr. Decha Siripat.
