The Taiwan Green Products Pavilion, hosted under the auspices of the Green Trade Project Office (GTPO), the green-trade promotion arm of Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs, will showcase some of Taiwan's top Green energy technologies, from August 30 to September 1st in Bangkok. The energy innovations will be displayed across three main categories 1) Solutions in Smart City and IoT in response to the "Thailand 4.0 Policy"; 2) Green Building Materials for green city development, 3) Energy Saving and environmental protection technology.

As Thailand is the second largest economy in ASEAN and one that is expected to see sustained growth throughout 2018-2019, the Thai government has been promoting the economic reform program "Thailand 4.0 Policy," covering the top ten future industries, as well as plans to increase the proportion of renewables in its energy mix. Further, due to Thailand's abundant sunshine, solar power is an ideal Green energy solution for Thailand, as it represents an inexpensive means of providing everlasting clean power. The Green energy industry is a very viable pathway to help Thailand achieve its goals stated in the "Thailand 4.0 Policy".

Turning to Taiwan's green energy industry, it is one of the key industries that the Taiwan government has actively promoted in its "5+2 Industrial Innovation Plan". In addition to leading the development of the Green industry in Taiwan, it also promotes Taiwan's Green technology to the international market. Taiwan's renewables sector has a strong foundation of innovation, matched with high-quality products that are priced competitively in the international market. Moreover, with a full range of highly developed service integration, Taiwan can help Thailand build smarter and greener cities.

The "Taiwan Green Products Pavilion" showcases 12 Taiwanese companies, including Delta Electronics, TSEC, Eterbright, LinkCom, A team, Cameo, Evergreen Timber, GlobalGBN, Aberdeen Decoration, SD Optoelectronics, Genmoor Technology, ECOVE and Cheng-long Energy. The core products include LED industrial lamps, different types of high-efficiency solar panels and modules, wireless Bluetooth BLE dimmers, and air quality sensors for IoT applications. The Pavillion will show a wide range of green building materials, energy saving products and engineered solutions to visitors, comprising trade buyers and the general public.
