Khun Arthorn Vanasantakul (Managing Director of MBK Hotel and Tourism), Mr.Stefan Heintze (General Manager), Khun Patcharee Phetpiroon (Resident Manager) and the hotel's management team were joined, early morning, by 9 monks from Wat Pathumwanaram for a merit making service. Food was then brought to the Spirit House in front of the hotel, where the management paid its respects.
This was followed by a donation of some much needed and appreciated goodies to Bangkok's deserving Foundation for Slum Child Care, after which a second Monk Ceremony took place with food and other items offered to the monks.
At noon, the loyalty and dedication of 50 members of hotel staff was rewarded with Long Service Awards - no less than 5 staff were celebrating 20 years service with the hotel - followed by lunch and, of course, an Anniversary cake!
