Regent's International School, Bangkok was privileged to host 32 monks from the local Rama Nine Temple, Wat Thep Leela, Wat Sri Rattana Thamaram on Friday 12th October. Mr. Peter Hogan, Principal, Ms. Caro Drumm, Head of Primary and Dr. Peter Jones, Head of Secondary welcomed them to the school.

The merit making was in support of the local Buddhist community and also coincided with the school's own preparation for the remembrance of his Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

In addition to the Merit Making there was traditional Thai dancing and a blessing from monks at the monastery.

Donations were made by many parents and supporters of the school. Some donations were also made to the "Gift of Happiness Foundation" as well. We would like to express our gratitude to all friends and families who attended and made the event so special.
