The roundtable was hosted to brainstorm and listen to ideas of participating countries on a conceptual model to create young entrepreneurs. This session also laid out a guideline to develop entrepreneurial projects or courses based on science, technology, and creativity. It would build a network that promotes positive entrepreneur mindset and digital mindset in Thai education system. Moreover, it served as a platform form for young entrepreneurs to build relationships and stay connected nationally and globally and for speakers and participants to exchange knowledge and experiences.

"Currently, Thai education in primary and secondary level does not have clear direction on creating entrepreneurs. Only business administration program is available in some universities. For technical program or others, students do not develop enough entrepreneur mindset to further practice and conduct business in real life. That is because entrepreneur mindset has not been included in mandatory courses of basic education while other countries started applying this concept to their education system from primary level.

Domestic and international economic competition needs a new generation who understands technologies and have an entrepreneur mindset to change the business format into start up, which let technologies to lead the business in digital era. That is why we organize Young STEM & a Entrepreneur project," concluded Nattawat Jiwattanakul.
