Experience various worldwide artists such as Eric Duncan AKA Dr.Dunks, a New York City-based who's best known for being one half of the legendary DJ and production duo Rub n Tug. His works includes remixes of various artists including LCD Soundsystem and Coldplay. He will also be joined by Pete Herbert, a British DJ, producer and remixer. Herbert has been playing his trade on dance floors all over the world, joining the dots musically with his unique style. Meanwhile, Gero, head DJ at Desa Potato Head's vinyl refuge, Studio Eksotika, will also make this event even more special with his passion in smoky jazz, new wave and European disco and the powerful pull of traditional sounds. Last but not least, Alex Imix, a Russian DJ who runs The Club at Koi in Bangkok, will join all of them.
Alongside the DJs, Hary Wahyudi, Assistant Bar Manager at Akademi, will create special cocktails for the event to get the dance floor moving. Akademi, located inside Katamama at Desa Potato Head, is globally known not only as one of Bali's best quality bars, but also a hub for innovative mixologists. The root of Akademi is on local and seasonal produce. Indonesia's native botanicals and flower philosophy is the key to this sustainable bar program.
There will also be a limited-edition t-shirt and shirt from SIWILAI CITY CLUB X Potato Head available at the event. Craftworks from Indonesia Now, a showcase of archipelago-wide creativity and craftsmanship curated by Potato Head and Bobobobo, will be shown at SIWILAI Store.
Don't forget to check out the cutting-edge floral work "Orchid Tower," the first chapter of "The Flowerscape Series" by the world-renowned Japanese artist, AMKK which will be combined with bamboo installation of Phahonchai Premjai AKA Ajarn Tom, architect and adviser to the Jim Thompson Farm, displaying from 1-10 December 2018 at SIWILAI CITY CLUB. This botanical sculpture goes in parallel with the music world of Potato Head to enhance the lively experience of this music event.
