SHANGRI-LA HOTEL, BANGKOK’S NEXT2 CAFE PRESENTS CLASSIC RECIPES “ALONG THE SILK ROAD NIGHT” EVERY THURSDAY NIGHT

Thursday 27 December 2018 09:26
Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok's NEXT2 Caf presents "Along the Silk Road Night", a traditional gastronomy dinner on Thursdays, from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Prices at THB 1,900 net per person. Children aged 6 to 11 years old will enjoy half price.

The "Along the Silk Road Night" draws inspiration from the ancient trade routes starting from the Oriental East to the Mediterranean shores. This extravaganza features various creations of multinational delicacies and divine presentations from Executive Chef Marc Cibrowius and his talented culinary team.

Diners will discover and savour the flourishing taste of Eastern selections, such as refreshing Vietnamese Rice Paper Roll (made to order); flavourful Black-Bean Angus Beef; a variety of house-made dim sum; and a stunning noodle station. The discovery continues to the Middle East with mezze creations, namely, Hummus with Spiced Minced Beef; splendid Egyptian Pulled Dakkah Spiced Lamb Shoulder from the grill station; Lebanese Chicken Shawarma from the carving station and many more delicacies.

The adventure through the ancient recipes ends with delightful desserts, such as Pistachio and Walnut Baklava; Turkish Chocolate Nougat; Caramel Flan; Um'Ali and a selection of artisanal ice cream and sorbet with condiments.
