Bangkok Bank Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors Deja Tulananda, Director H.S.H. Prince Mongkolchaleam Yugala, Director and Executive Vice President Dr. Thaweelap Rittapirom, and Executive Vice President and Corporate Secretary Apichart Ramyarupa , as well as other Bank executives and employees presented offerings to Somdet Phra Ariyawongsakatayan Somdej Phra Sangharaj Sakol Maha Sangha Parinayok and directors of the Sangha Supreme Council for a total of 16 senior Buddhist monks from 12 temples to mark the beginning of Buddhist Lent. The Bank also offered blessings to four senior monks who were promoted to the rank of Somdet Phrarachakhana: Somdet Phra Mahathirajarn from Wat Yannawa, Somdet Phra Maha Muniwong from Wat Sommanat Ratchaworawihan, Somdet Phra Maha Weerawong from Wat Rajabophit Sathitmahasimaram and Somdet Phra Maha Ratchamongkol Muni from Wat Traimit Withayaram. This is an annual tradition by the Bank to preserve Thai religious activities and culture.
