Photo Release: THAI Attends Princess Srinagarindra Award Presentation Ceremony 2019

Mrs. Suvimol Bualerd (fourth from left), THAI Executive Vice President of Human Resources, together with Mrs. Theerasin Saengrungsri (first from left), THAI Vice President, Corporate Image & Communications Department, and Associate Professor Dr. Tassana Boontong (third from left), Vice President of the Princess Srinagarindra Award Foundation under the Royal Patronage, congratulated Professor Dr. Serara Segarona KUPE-MOGWE (seated), who made a great contribution to the development of health care system in Botswana and South Africa, and Professor Emeritus Junko KONDO (second from left), who made a great contribution to the development of nursing education and midwifery in Japan. Both have been selected as recipients of the Princess Srinagarindra Award 2019 from a list of nominees who are registered nurses and midwives from all around the world. The presentation ceremony was held at the Chakri Throne Hall, The Grand Palace.

The Princess Srinagarindra Award Foundation was established in commemoration of the Centenary Birthday Anniversary of Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra Mahidol since 2000. The Princess Srinagarindra Award is conferred annually upon an individual or group of registered nurses and/or registered midwives who have made a significant contribution, though direct care, research, education or management, within the nursing profession and/or for the development of the nursing profession. THAI has been providing an on-going support for this prestigious award, flying members of the award selection committee and award recipients to the Kingdom of Thailand.
