Wildfire has become a serious public health and safety issue in several provinces, including Chiang Mai, Phetchaburi, Prachinburi, Nakhon Ratchasima, Lamphun and Lampang. Even though the fire has been put out, the areas and communities nearby are still exposed to a high level of PM 2.5 pollution. As a leader in respiratory pharmaceuticals, Great Eastern Drug Co., Ltd. or GED, recognizes the urgency to provide support on this matter. Therefore, Mr. Jaroen Wongariyakavee (4th from left), OTC Sales Director, GED, has represented the company in handing over relief supplies, including N95 face masks, allergy medications, drinking water, saline nasal wash, rice, alcohol, wound dressings and more, to the Forest Protection and Fire Control Office, Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation. The office’s director Mr. Sakchai Jongkitwiwat (5th from left) received the items on behalf of the team before sending the supplies over to the forest fire control stations in Chiang Mai.
