TPT Petrochemicals Public Company Limited, an Indorama Ventures company in Rayong, recently handed over to Nern Pra Health Promoting Hospital, Queen Sirikit Hospital, Nikhom Phatthana Hospital, and Ban Khai Hospital 240 liters of Iso Propanol Alcohol (IPA), used for producing hand gel sanitizers which need minimum 70% alcohol content for disinfecting and cleaning. Together with another two Indorama Ventures companies, Indorama Petrochem Limited (PTA) and Indorama Polyester Industries PCL (Rayong), the company also donated 170 wipes, 200 leg covers, and 300 fabric masks to Banchang Hospital and supported employment through Maptaphut Municipality by ordering 8,000 locally-produced fabric masks and handing over to Mr. Thawin Bohdi Buathong, Mayor of Maptaphut Municipality, to distribute to the Maptaphut community. The companies also donated 3,800 fabric masks to Rayong Public Health and Village Health Volunteer of Rayong Province. These contributions will help enhance the community’s hygiene and strengthen local self-reliance during the COVID-19 pandemic.
