Damen Shipyards Gorinchem uses IFS Applications for Service Management to manage ship repairs and spare parts sales. In addition, Damen uses call center and warranties management functionality from IFS to handle customer queries related to warranties. It will also use IFS Applications to run its financials processes. As of next spring, Damen will also use the contract management and project management components in IFS Applications. With these components, the company will be able to support all kind of projects from service, repair work to new fabrication projects.
