Eligibility

The Indie Pitch Fest at Global Mobile App Summit & Awards 2016 (GMASA'16) is open to all eligible indie developers and startups having less than 4 employees.

All games submitted for the Indie Pitch Fest must be available for download on a mobile device in at least one market or territory ahead of the event submission deadline of 15th Jan 2016.

Entry form will need to be filled up only in English. However the game/supporting documents can be in any other language.

Judging Process

Entries will be judged on the basis of the information provided to the independent judging panel in the entry form and the additional supporting materials in accordance with the respective category requirements. Details of the judging panel meetings will not be disclosed, nor will any correspondence be entered into by GMASA regarding validation or qualification of entries or the decision of the judges.

The Judges and the GMASA team retain the right to combine or edit categories at their discretion based on the number of entries for each category. Organisers also reserve the right to stop or cancel, at any time, temporarily or permanently, the award process without prior notice.

Confidentiality

Entries will be treated by GMASA as strictly confidential. Only details of the award winners and a shortlist of selected, commended or nominated entries in each category will be published prior to, or after the presentation. Please note, however, that entries are judged by external journalists, analysts and many others for which we simply cannot guarantee confidentiality, so please do not include any sensitive information or material within your submissions that you do not wish to have in the public domain

The decision of the judges is binding and final. No correspondence will be entered into. The nominees will be notified on 18th January 2016. The Indie Pitch Final will take place on 22nd January 2016.

Promotion

By entering the Indie Pitch Fest, applicants are expressly authorising GMASA to use the specific text, video and visual materials submitted for the purposes of promoting the Mobile App Game industry in GMASA presentations, reports for publication, web site and media activities as well as all other forms of promotional/publicity materials after the awards event.

Pitch Rules:• A presentation can be done by a maximum of 4 members per team

• You will have 10 minutes to pitch. Practice your pitch, get it down to 8 minutes to allow 2 minutes for questions.

• Come prepared with Business cards, stickers, info sheets, etc. Most importantly, bring your game on a mobile device so we can assess it.

Shortlist:

10 entries will be selected for the final pitch on 22nd January, 2016.

All shortlisted entries will get $500 worth of Amazon AWS Credit

Prize Money:

1st Prize - US$ 1250 + 1 Amazon Kindle

2nd Prize – US$ 750 + 1 Amazon Kindle

3rd Prize – US$ 500 + 1 Amazon Kindle
