Metro Systems boost the cutting-edge innovation of HP Jet Fusion 3D Printing to drive DPG business growth continually after the appointment to be HP's first reseller of 3D Jet Fusion Printing Solution in Thailand and first IT VAR in APJ, initially investing the HP printing technology center to deliver tangible experiences to customer before making a decision and working in partnership with 3D software partners to further penetrate the printing industry.

Metro Systems Corporation Public Company Limited, HP's first reseller of HP 3D Jet Fusion Printing Solution in Thailand and first IT VAR in APJ, announced HP Jet Fusion 3D Printing with the cutting-edge technology, initially in Thailand and Southeast Asia. Metro Systems also invested in an HP printing technology center to deliver tangible experiences to customer before making a decision and working in partnership with 3D software alliances to fully meet customer needs in different vertical industries including the education sectors.

Mr.Thongchai Lumveerakul, President of Digital Printing Group, Metro Systems Corporation Public Company Limited said the company was appointed by HP Inc. to be HP's first reseller of HP 3D Jet Fusion Printing in Thailand and the first IT VAR in APJ. Recently, the company also installed the first HP Jet Fusion 3D printing of Thailand in the technology center at its head office for customers to learning closely.

"We are certain that HP smart and superior technologies, including services and support will empower our business growth while our customers will get full benefits of fast, valuable services", said Mr.Thongchai "HP Jet Fusion 3D Printing will help increase value added to our targeted customers, including to meet customer needs in the industry and education sectors. Especially, delivering 3D prototyping and product development helps further expand industrial design that results complete 3D printed parts production."

HP's Open Platform approach in materials and software will help Metro Systems work with 3D software partners, organizing "HP Jet Fusion 3D Printing - The NEW era of Manufacturing and Prototyping" to launch the latest technology of reinventing functional prototyping and manufacturing, initially in Thailand.

"We, Metro Systems and HP, have had the long-standing relationship since 1994. Metro Systems is now one of HP largest Print Partners in Thailand and is part of HP founders club and Partner Advisory Board. Recently, the company as a HP Platinum Partner had launched HP A3 PageWide Printer as well", added Mr.Thongchai.

Mr.Kritsada Panlamyai, Vice President of Digital Printing Group, Metro Systems Corporation Public Company limited said HP Jet Fusion 3D Printing Solution has superior technology up to 10 times faster1 than other 3D printer brands. It is an industrial 3D printer with fine details and the capability to produce 3D complex parts.

The HP 3D Printing platform is the initial step in HP's vision for a new era of 3D printing, delivering significant improvements in speed, quality and cost versus existing solutions in the market. By printing functional parts for the first time at the individual voxel level (a voxel is the 3D equivalent of a 2D pixel in traditional printing), the HP solution offers customers an unprecedented ability to transform part properties and deliver mass customization.

HP's 3D Printing platform is unique in its ability to address over 340 million voxels per second, versus one point at a time, giving prototyping and manufacturing partners radically faster build speeds, functional parts and breakthrough economics.

"As we continue to scale our 3D printing business globally, we are expanding our solutions' availability through new resellers such as Metro Systems," said Mr.Pavin Vorapruck, Managing Director, HP Inc. Thailand. "By doing so, we hope to help local businesses accelerate their adoption of Industry 4.0 technologies and overall digital transformation, while staying competitive in the $12 trillion manufacturing industry."

The HP Jet Fusion 3D 4200 Printer, available through Metro Systems is designed for prototyping and short-run manufacturing needs, with high productivity to meet same-day demands at the lowest cost per part. The HP Jet Fusion 3D 4200 Printer provides:

•A unique Multi-Agent printing process, offering extreme dimensional accuracy and fine detail
•Reduce total cost of ownership and produce quality parts with an engineering-grade, strong multi-purpose thermoplastic, that enables industry-leading surplus powder reusability.2
•A processing station with Fast Cooling for improved time-to-part, end-to-end speed
•Advanced and custom print modes to control mechanical, functional, and aesthetic properties, accuracy and speed

"We believe that HP Jet Fusion 3D Printing Solution will help support our Digital Printing Group or DPG business to continuous growth. It is also one of the world's latest innovation and key technology trends that our customers can take good chances for learning closely," Mr.Thongchai finally concluded.

1.Based on internal testing and simulation, HP Jet Fusion 3D printing solution average printing time is up to 10x faster than FDM & SLS printer solutions from $100,000 USD to $300,000 USD on market as of April 2016. Testing variables: Part Quantity -1 full bucket of parts from HP Jet Fusion 3D at 20% of packing density vs same number of parts on above-mentioned competitive devices; Part size: 30g; Layer thickness: 0.1mm/0.004 inches. Fast Cooling is enabled by HP Jet Fusion 3D Processing Station with Fast Cooling, available in 2017. HP Jet Fusion 3D Processing Station with Fast Cooling accelerates parts cooling time vs recommended manufacturer time of SLS printer solutions from $100,000 USD to $300,000 USD, as tested in April 2016. FDM not applicable. Continuous printing requires an additional HP Jet Fusion 3D Build Unit (standard printer configuration includes one HP Jet Fusion 3D Build Unit).

2.HP Jet Fusion 3D print solution with HP 3D High Reusability PA 12 has the highest post-production surplus powder reusability with 80% reusability vs any other powder based 3D printing technology using PA 12 material. Consistent performance with only 20% powder refresh rate.
