Danai Sorakraikitikul, Managing Director at A-List Private Company Limited, revealed previous year's figures. "We have been Leica brand cameras' official importer and retailer in Thailand for 2 full years, having reached the goal at B150 million in the first year and B300 million at the end of 2017 with 100% growth as a result of the brand's customer relations strategy via activities with direct user involvement to create brand loyalty and respect amongst users. The current users today, consist of the previously existing users which we retain and value highly, together with new users we are trying to expand toward and educate with appropriate product usage along with any purchase."

"We have set in motion, 3 major strategies including 1) Leica Academy where Leica users can learn through trainings at workshops with various steps of photo taking from the beginning onto advanced level delivered by professional photographers2) User engagement activities such as the Leica photographing trips that foster strong relationships between users and brand3) Leica Gallery Bangkok which will be the world's 19th and Asia's 4th location after Tokyo's (Tokyo, Japan) and Singapore's as the exhibition center for international and Thai photographers alike to push forward the works of Thai photographers onto global stage. The first set of photographs to be exhibited is an honor from Nick Ut, globally recognized photographer from Vietnam and winner of Pulitzer Prize, who has brought over 25 photographs with aesthetic and historic values to showcase at "My Story by Nick Ut" exhibition with the highlight being "The Terror of War" which will be on until April 30, 2018.", added Danai.

"For all camera users, the 3 main steps of photographing include 1)Photographing: positioning, lighting, and object compositions2) Retouching: today, using computer process aka Light 3) Printing: the process that let photographers see the different details in the photographs. From today's consumer behavior, most of the camera users are still at the first step only and we aim to encourage all photography enthusiasts to move forward to step 2 and 3.

"For this year, the goal is to retain the existing users while expanding onto new ones with the expectation to reach B500 million in sales revenue and to be at the top of mind of super luxury camera users via activities, and pricing strategy with comparable price to international markets as a result of the recent price reducing in 2016.",shared Danai.
