Fuji Xerox In Collaboration with Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University for Providing One-Stop Printing Service Center Amidst Digital Era Transformation

Fuji Xerox teams up with Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University in establishing university printing service center to provide One-Stop Documentation Services using Fuji Digital Printing Technology to support various functions aiming to enable efficient printing management of Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University by ensuring maximum benefits while moving toward digital printing era.

Mr. Kitikorn Nongsawat, Director of Fuji Xerox Global Services and Solution Business, Fuji Xerox (Thailand) Co., Ltd., described the background of this collaboration by stating that the Company introduced its Fuji Xerox multi-function devices and One-Stop Print Room Service to Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University, brainstorming of both the problems and difficulties relating to cost saving of printing and the possibility establishing a collaborative printing service center within the organization. The long negotiation and discussion was carried out under the keen vision of the Chancellor in respect to seeking One-Stop Printing Service to help reduce cost. This One-Stop Printing Service Center is expected to address and facilitate all printing jobs under affordable price, according to customer requirements as well as timely service without the need for outsourced printing house.

However, the establishment of One-Stop Printing Service Center requires high budget, especially in terms of printing workloads for investment evaluation which Fuji Xerox had provided assistance in performing assessment to survey the required workloads and types of printing jobs in order to determine appropriate printing machines to be installed. Meanwhile, the university set up a working team consisting of various departments to help consider the project details by taking into account the maximum benefits of the university in terms of efficiency and effectiveness. Once the project had been approved by the working team and the Chancellor, this One-Stop Printing Service Center was therefore successfully established.

The services provided including university documents printing such as meeting documents, digital textbooks, binding service for dissertations, university journals, including printing service for confidential documents and exams, and all types of digital color/black and white printing jobs. Fuji Xerox shall be responsible for printing machines and related equipment installation as well as assigning a team of specialists for providing customer assistance and by which customers can set their own deadline.

In this project, Fuji Xerox is well co-operated with Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University to participate in the appropriate formatting recommendations as well as providing necessary information to meet the requirements of the university on controlling printing cost by establishing the one-stop printing service center. This printing center shall prepare summary reports of total printing jobs and printing cost for the university and the university had also set up a working team for managing printing services together with Fuji Xerox team.
