MCOT to Kick Off New Interactive Service “The M Wink” in April

Mr. Kematat Paladesh, President of MCOT Public Company Limited (MCOT Plc.) reveals "The launch of "The M Wink" project marks the beginning of the Digital Era for MCOT. We are the first broadcaster that offers a digital interactive experience to audiences by integrating communication and broadcast technologies, to enhance direct engagement with the audiences. The project will kick off at the beginning of this April on the occasion of the 66th anniversary of MCOT's inception. The audiences of 9 MCOT HD (Channel 30) and MCOT Family (Channel 14) will be able to interact with the channels anytime anywhere while viewing programs through MCOT's multi platforms. By simply scanning a QR code appearing during a program each hour, the audiences will receive promotional deals and discounts offered by our partners including The 1 Card, World Medical Hospital, Kasemrat Hospitals Group, DSG International Thailand, Certainty (adult diapers company), Smash Gym, Bangkok Airways, Tops Market, Family Mart, Mister Donut, Auntie Anne's, Pepper Lunch, Yoshinoya, and Thai Fuang Fa Travel. In addition to consumer goods and service companies, MCOT has partnered with Thai leading Internet service provider INET in developing this project to better meet the needs of the viewers in the 4.0 Era. The M Wink project will create a more fun and attractive way for government agencies to communicate with Thai people. It is expected to generate additional revenue for MCOT and the partners."
