NTT Celebrates 60th Anniversary Announcing to Support Sustainable Education in Thailand

The company provides scholarships to Princess Chulabhorn Science High School and signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with KMITL to support educational activities.

NTT Communications (Thailand) Co., Ltd, the ICT solutions and international communications business within the NTT Group (TYO: 9432), celebrates 60th Anniversary of NTT in Thailand and announces a plan to provide continued support to promote sustainable education in Thailand.

Mr. Manabu Kahara, the president of NTT Communications (Thailand) said that in an occasion of NTT's 60th anniversary, the company celebrates its achievement and expresses appreciation to customers and partners who have supported NTT for 60 years. Moreover, NTT presents the activity of 60 years in the part of helping Thailand lay down telecommunication infrastructure in government and educational sector in the past.

"From 1958 to now, we determinedly support the development of innovation and continuously provide knowledge to the society," he said.

The company plans to put continued support on the development of sustainable education. To celebrate the 60th anniversary, the company today gives scholarships to outstanding students at Princess Chulabhorn Science High School. The scholarship will be granted annually for a period of 10 years.

Moreover, the company signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) to support educational activities and provide knowledge to further develop qualified and highly skilled engineers within the university.

"All the above mentioned action plans are our significant goals to help develop qualified and highly skilled engineers which is a key foundation for Thailand's further development. In this occasion, we would like to thank all customers and partners for continued supports throughout our past 60 years," Mr. Manabu Kahara concluded.
