SHAREit, a global content discovery, consumption and sharing application, announces the appointment of Mr. Piyush Bhatia as Vice President, Global Content Strategy and Acquisition. The move comes in the midst of a breakthrough period for the digital entertainment industry. With the aim to become the top destination for global content, Piyush will be involved in identifying and leveraging meaningful content partnerships primarily in the South-East Asia region and would help define the way forward for SHAREit by designing its content strategy.

A true veteran in the industry, Piyush comes with 14 years of experience in the Media and Entertainment sector and holds a post graduate diploma in Radio and TV Journalism from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi. Over the years, he has undertaken key roles for renowned brands such as Eros International, Times Network, Viacom18 and Star India (Now The Walt Disney Company India) and has facilitated the launch of channels like Star World Premiere HD and Colors Infinity.
