Holiday Inn offers guests an opportunity to “Stay Free” with 800+ free nights across Asia and Australasia

Winners will enjoy the enhanced Holiday Inn Experience, including refreshed rooms, new amenities and enhanced service in the largest rebranding exercise in the hospitality industry

With its US$1 billion global brand refresh close to completion, Holiday Inn is offering more than 800 free room nights for guests in Asia and Australasia to enjoy the enhanced Holiday Inn experience.

The Holiday Inn “Stay Free” Asia promotion gives residents of Southeast Asia the chance to win a free stay at Holiday Inn hotels in Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, India and the Maldives. The promotion kicked off on August 22 and runs until September 18. To participate, visit the Facebook page “Holiday Inn Experience the Change” (www.facebook.com/HIexperience).

The Holiday Inn portfolio is expanding rapidly in the region with 11 new hotel openings in the last 24 months and 28 more in the pipeline over the next three years. This year alone, five brand new Holiday Inn properties opened in India (Cochin and Pune), New Zealand (Rotorua), Vanuatu and Thailand (Phuket Mai Khao Beach).

Started in 2007, Holiday Inn’s Refresh program saw a facelift of more than 3,100 Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotels with 430,000 rooms worldwide in the largest rebranding exercise in the hospitality industry.

With nearly 140 Holiday Inn hotels in key locations across Asia Pacific, the refresh program creates a fresh, contemporary brand image, as part of the drive to increase quality and consistency across the hotel’s global portfolio. It underscores Holiday Inn’s campaign motto, “Stay You”, which promises a renewed focus on providing a great Holiday Inn experience at every customer touch point from arrival to departure.

As a new standard across all refreshed and new Holiday Inn hotels, guests now enjoy:

- Guest beds made using high quality bed linen with duck down duvets and pillow top mattresses, with a choice of soft or firm pillows

- A range of international and local entertainment channels

- Bathrooms fitted with a three function massage showerhead and quality towels to offer a great shower experience

- Business-focused necessities including an ergonomic work station, data ports, high speed Internet access and Wi-Fi capabilities.

“Stay Free” Asia Promotion Launches in Facebook

Participants to this promotion must first “Like” the Holiday Inn Experience the Change Facebook page and register by clicking on the Stay Free tab. Every week participants will stand the chance to win a free stay at a different destination across Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, India and the Maldives. Winners will be selected through a weekly draw, and will each get two free nights at one of the participating hotels.

Participants are allowed to enter the draw once per day, seven days a week. Non-winning participants have a chance to win again by submitting their choices again the following week for the next round.

The “Stay Free” Australia promotion, aimed at giving residents of Australasia the chance to experience Holiday Inn’s refreshed hotels, will kick-off in December 2011.
