Independent Thai hospitality group Manathai Hotels & Resorts has launched the latest in its unique collection of boutique properties, Manathai Koh Samui, at ITB Berlin 2015 - courting travellers seeking deeper connections to some of Thailand's most beautiful and culturally rich destinations.

Manathai Hotels & Resorts (www.manathai.com) launched in November 2014 at World Travel Market in London and consists of a grouping of high-end resorts offering travellers authentic and individual experiences by drawing inspiration from the surrounds and flavours of each destination in which they are located.

The hospitality group has four properties in Thailand - Manathai Hua Hin, the recently opened Manathai Khao Lak, and now Manathai Koh Samui. Manathai Surin Phuket will open in October 2015.

Manathai Hotels & Resorts Group Director of Sales and Marketing Bobbie-Jane Skewes said she was delighted to be announcing the opening of Manathai Koh Samui, which would set a new benchmark for authentic Thai hospitality on the island.

"We feel that there is a real demand for high-quality boutique resorts that embrace the essence of Thai hospitality, with uniquely authentic Thai experiences in beachfront locations," she said. "Manathai Koh Samui certainly delivers that and much more through our boldly Thai approach."

Located on Lamai Beach and a 50-minute flight from Bangkok, Manathai Koh Samui offers 46 Suites and 102 Deluxe Balcony Rooms, including 6 Family Suites with bunk beds and special amenities tailored to children and a range of other suites up to 200-square metres (sqm) in size, a fitness centre, a kids club and childcare services, two swimming pools, complimentary Wi-Fi and 24-hour security.

A range of dining options are highlighted by Pad Thai a branded restaurant concept which celebrates one of the most iconic and best loved Thai dishes, while offering cooking classes to guests to understand the various recipes and varieties of the classic creation.

By the water's edge overlooking a Thai fishing village is the light, modern cuisine featured at Waterline, where the freshest Thai seafood is featured in a range of creative culinary offerings. Other outlets include Colours all-day dining international restaurant, Mulligan's Irish pub and the Coffee World Café for the best coffee on the island.
