Cape Panwa Hotel, Phuket appointed new General Manager

The Management of Cape and Kantary Hotels is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Thomas Hain as General Manager of Cape Panwa Hotel, Phuket.

Mr.Thomas Hain began his career in the hotel and hospitality industry back in 1995. His internship at the Hotel Ibis Dresden Lilienstein provided him with an introduction to the intricacies of the smooth and seamless functioning of a hotel.

After graduating from the Staatliche Studienakaclemie Breitenbrunn with a Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism Business Management, Thomas proceeded to work as a Front Desk Agent at the Arabella Sheraton Atlantis Hotel Zuerich, a 5-star, 224 room hotel. Thomas then took a Front Desk Agent position at the Hilton London Heathrow Airport Hotel, then moved to Los Angeles and acquired a position as a Front Desk Supervisor at the Westin Los Angeles Airport Hotel.

Thomas worked his way up through the ranks, a stint as Assistant Front Office Manager at the Grand Hyatt Dubai led to a stint as Front Office Manager at the Holiday Inn Vienna South. In October 2014 Thomas became Hotel Manager of Cape Panwa Hotel, Phuket, a 5 star hotel located in the pristine Cape Panwa. Thomas quickly acclimated himself with the area and the hotel, and earned the trust and respect of the hotel staff. After five months, Thomas was made General Manager of Cape Panwa Hotel, due to his stellar performance as Hotel Manager.
