The certified venues were 42 MICE venue operators, comprising 3 convention centres, 34 hotels and resorts, as well as 5 public and private organizations. Among those validated were the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok Convention Centre at Central World, Miracle Grand Convention Hotel, the 60th Anniversary of His Majesty the King's Accession to the Throne International Convention Center in Hat Yai, and the SCB Training Center Pattaya.
The assessment and awarding ceremony aim to retrieve confidence among both domestic and international organizers interested in exceptional MICE hospitality with the Thai touch as well as stimulate MICE operators to further develop capabilities in order to make Thailand a regional hub for MICE events.
