Mrs. Phakkara Ruangsiradecho (eighth from left, standing), Managing Director of Ground Customer Services Department, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), and Ms. Anoma Wongyai (seventh from left, standing), Director of Tourism Authority of Thailand, Phuket Office, recently presided over the "Children in Flight & Thai Life Field Trip 2017", whereby Children from Northern Thailand traveled with THAI to participate in a field trip in Phuket during 3-5 April 2017. Mr. Sanit Srivihok, Deputy Governor of Phuket (ninth from left, standing), and Mr. Kosol Sartsawat, Director of Fire Fighting and Rescue, Phuket International Airport, were also present at the opening ceremony. THAI, as the national carrier, believes in the importance of creating opportunities for young children, a valuable part of society. This year marks the eighth year that THAI was taken children on flights and the second year THAI and TAT have cooperated together to create learning opportunities for children outside of the classroom. Children from the South were selected to welcome those from the North, both of which are the future of Thailand's tourism industry.
