Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) welcomes Songkran Festival with hosting a cultural event during 12-15 April 2017 at Royal First Class lounge and Royal Silk lounge, Suvarnabhumi airport.

Mrs. Phakkhra Ruangsiradecho (Second from right), THAI Managing Director of Ground Customer Services Department and THAI ground staff welcomed passengers and poured scented water on hands of revered elders and ask for blessing (a custom called Rod Nam Dam Hua). THAI lounges are decorated with fresh flower garland sets and scents in Songkran festival theme, as well as allow passengers to pour scented water over Buddha statues (a custom called Song Nam Phra). At all lounges, THAI also serves Thai desserts to passengers whereby passengers can experience the atmosphere of Songkran festival.
