Pioneering hospitality brand Aviary, located in the green suburbs of the flourishing district of Bintaro in south Jakarta, has launched a series of Lebaran festivities focused on families coming together to honour the ending of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

The week-long festive period of Lebaran, the popular name for Eid al-Fitr in Indonesia, sees the eco-inspired hotel offer special room rates, with two-night stays including breakfast for two starting at IDR1,748,000 net (USD130). The Lebaran package is available for stays from 25 until 26 June 2017.

Aviary Bintaro's post-Ramadan holiday festivities also include traditional, family-style dining at its centerpiece restaurant – the Starling Eatery - featuring a special buffet for IDR150,000++ with Indonesian corner dishes such as ketupat, opor ayam, bistik sapi, kentang balado, sayur lodeh with a special lamb leg and kebuli rice.

The stylish hotel also made its mark in the community recently during Ramadan by working with local group Bintaro Berbagi and inviting 150 less fortunate and orphaned children aged between five and 15 years old to a full day of activities in the hotel's 220-person capacity ballroom.

Activities included Ramadan storytelling by Ariyo Zidni, an introduction to the hospitality profession and a character building session by motivator Hilbram Dunar before breaking the fast and dining on traditional Tajil dishes created by Aviary Bintaro Executive Chef Yudha Prayogi.

Aviary Bintaro opened its elegant and whimsical hospitality concept in May this year, featuring 125 modern and stylish rooms and serviced apartments, extensive meeting facilities, swimming pool and fitness as well as dining at Starling eatery, located 20 minutes from the Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.
