THAI, THAI Smile, and Nok Air to Assist Flood Victims in Sakon Nakhon and Nearby Vicinities

Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), together with THAI Smile and Nok Air, will provide joint assistance to flood victims in Sakon Nakhon and nearby vicinities.

Mrs. Usanee Sangsingkeo, THAI Acting President, said that as Sakon Nakhon and areas in the nearby vicinities have been hit by the biggest flood to affect the area in several years, there are several residents who require immediate assistance. THAI, THAI Smile, and Nok Air are accepting monetary donations as well as emergency relief supplies and consumable goods that will be gathered for residents of Sakon Nakhon and those in nearby vicinities. THAI's donation centers are located at THAI's Head Office on Vibhavadi Rangsit Road as well as its offices on Larn Luang Road and in Laksi, THAI Technical Department in Don Mueang, and THAI's Offices at Suvarnabhumi Airport such as THAI's Operations Center, Ground Equipment Services Department, Catering Department, and Cargo and Commercial Mail, and Technical Department. THAI will gather and transfer all donations to THAI Smile and Nok Air flights operating to provinces located near affected areas. THAI will cooperate with government organizations for delivery to flood assistance centers in each province concerned. THAI will also provide ready-to-eat meals to flood victims, such as fried chicken with sticky rice and drinking water prepared by THAI Catering, which will be transported along with donated items. THAI also invites customers in the private sector to participate in donating consumable goods to those requiring assistance.

THAI has also arranged several flood assistance activities, such as packing emergency supply kits, consumable goods, and music activities. Furthermore, employees have volunteered to sell second hand items, with proceeds to be donated to flood victims.
