Photo Release: THAI Signs MOU with Office of the Vocational Education Commission

Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI), and the Office of the Vocational Education Commission (OVEC) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to jointly work towards personnel and aircraft engineer development as well as other related fields in aviation, based on international standards. Mr. Surachai Piencharoensak (second from left), THAI Vice President, Heavy Maintenance Department, and Mr. Wanich Oumsri (third from left), Deputy Secretary-General, the Office of the Vocational Education Commission (OVEC), signed the MOU at THAI Head Office, which was witnessed by Mr. Suthep Kaengsanthia (fourth from left), OVEC Director of Cooperation Bureau.

This MOU represents a step forward in the development of skilled personnel, those of whom will boost the country's competitiveness, which is in line with plans for the Eastern Economic Corridor Development (EEC) project. The cooperation will drive Thailand to become the Asia Pacific Aviation Industry Hub and elevate the Country's airline industry in accordance with government policy.
