Magnolias Ratchadamri Boulevard (MRB), a super-luxury mixed-use development by Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited (MQDC), is hosting a spectacular year-end 3D projection mapping performance on its 60-story tower, introducing world-class high-rise building mapping to Thailand.

Set to enchant all visitors at Ratchaprasong, Bangkok, Thailand from 14 December, 2017 to New Year's Eve, the 'Beautiful Bangkok by Magnolias @Ratchaprasong' performance is endorsed by Ratchaprasong Square Trade Association (RSTA) and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT).

Mr. Visit Malaisirirat, CEO of MQDC or Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited, said, "'Beautiful Bangkok by Magnolias @Ratchaprasong' will help bring in a joyful year-end. To celebrate this wonderful time of year for both Thai and foreign tourists, Magnolias Ratchadamri Boulevard has invited 'Limelight', a world-class artist group, to create a new masterpiece in Thailand. As the performance will embody Thainess and our cultural pride, it will boost our national image and reinforce Bangkok as an international destination for business and leisure and attract both Thai and foreign tourists," he said.

Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn, the governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, said, "It is very pleasing that the Magnolias Ratchadamri Boulevard super-luxury mixed-use development has joined Ratchaprasong Square Trade Association. It is the perfect moment to organize 'Beautiful Bangkok by Magnolias @Ratchaprasong' at the square, which has always been a prime attraction for tourists from around the world. We are pleased that this event will also help promote Thailand's tourism."

Ms. Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul, former Minister of Tourism, said, "We have seen Thai and foreign tourists visiting this cultural road in Bangkok for many years. This year is such a great opportunity for Magnolias Ratchadamri Boulevard to become another Bangkok landmark. 'Beautiful Bangkok by Magnolias @Ratchaprasong' will make the city more vibrant and animated, truly highlighting 'The Land of Smiles'."

The highlight of 'Beautiful Bangkok by Magnolias @Ratchaprasong' is Limelight's unique performance, led by Mr. Viktor Vicsek and Mr. Istvan David, whose previous shows have stunned the world and won both The Jury and The People's Choice Awards. This time, they are going to debut in Thailand a masterpiece under the concept 'Beautiful Bangkok' – a 3D projection mapping performance onto the 60-story tower of Magnolias Ratchadamri Boulevard - an interpretation of the beauty of Bangkok viewed through their eyes. The artwork will represent the course of 24 hours, providing a 'frame' that links and harmonizes the images, and will begin and finish with sunrise, a metaphor of nature's lifecycle, comprising 4 majors scenes:

A flower grows from the base to the tip of the building. The layers of petal morph into ripples on a river.
The sun rises. A city wakes, vibrant, busy, colorful, with busy people, roads, markets and construction sites, and with skyscrapers rising from its expanse.
The city's movements transform into a Hanuman mask and images that collapse into vortices.
At night, the forms become geometric neon images, symbolizing the city by night. Nightlife awakes and the cityscape slowly turns into a star-studded sky.
'Beautiful Bangkok by Magnolias @Ratchaprasong' will take place from 14-31 December 2017 at 19:00, 19:15, 19:30, 19.45, and 20.00, with an additional New Year's Eve performances at 23.55.
