Chiba Promotion Team Launches Facebook Page to Spread Charms of Chiba

The Chiba Prefectural Government has launched a Facebook page run by its publicity team to deliver the charms of Chiba across the nation in the run-up to the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games. Members of the "Chiba Promotion Team," numbering more than 100, are posting on a wide range of topics about the charms of Chiba, possibly helping you discover hitherto unknown attractions.

The Chiba Promotion Team is also recruiting people to newly join, encouraging one and all to spread information about the attractions of Chiba, including delicious food, beautiful scenery and warm hospitality encountered in the prefecture.

It consists of people who disseminate through posts on Facebook the attractions of Chiba such as delicious food, beautiful scenery and warm hospitality they have encountered in the region.

- 18 years or older at the time of application

- Not a member of an "antisocial (organized crime)" organization, etc.

- A person who already has or plans to have a Facebook account

- Ready to actively spread information about the charms of Chiba

*Applications from both residents and non-residents of the prefecture are accepted.

(4) Others

Team members who have proved excellent in spreading information about the attractions of Chiba, as measured by results such as robust feedback from browsers of the page, will be awarded. (Scheduled for early March 2019)
