Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha (3rd from left), Prime Minister of Thailand, together with his wife Associate Professor Naraporn Chan-o-cha (4th from left), graciously paid a visit to Thai Airways International Public Company Limited's (THAI) booth at the "8th Celebration of Silk: Thai Road to the World 2018," which THAI was one of the sponsors. Mrs. Theerasin Saengrungsri (2nd from left), THAI Vice President, Corporate Image & Communications, represented THAI and welcomed the Prime Minister and his wife at Bangkok Convention Center, Centara Grand, CentralWorld.

The "8th Celebration of Silk: Thai Road to the World 2018" was organized in honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit of the Ninth Reign who supported further development of Thai fabric, which has gained international recognition in the fashion industry, The event was organized by the Tourist Assistance Foundation and the SUPPORT Foundation, under the Royal Patronage of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, with sponsorship from the Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of the Interior, Ministry of Tourism and Sports, Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), and THAI.
