Santiburi Koh Samui, the luxurious retreat on Koh Samui's stunning north shore, has enhanced its family facilities with the launch of Panya & Yim's Junior Camp, an exciting new children's activity centre that provides endless hours of fun for young explorers.

Named after its two cuddly toy mascots, the bright 250 square metre space is bathed in natural light, with plenty of windows and a choice of different indoor and outdoor activity areas. This ensures that young guests can release their creativity in a stimulating atmosphere designed to inspire, educate and entertain.

Children can relax on comfy floor cushions and play at low tables in the traditional Thai style, with a range of indoor activities such as drawing, painting and local handicrafts. There are also educational easels, an art corner, wooden toys and building blocks, plus a library area packed with kids' books.

Youngsters with plenty of energy stay active with a wide range of sports and games, including an indoor basketball hoop, kids' bicycles, an outdoor playground with slide, a climbing wall, rope wall, tree-house, sandpit, a sensory garden and a grass lawn for outdoor games. Parents can rest assured that their children are never stuck indoors. They can also enjoy fresh air and energising activities to keep them fit, healthy and inspired.

Panya & Yim's Junior Camp even lets children show off their theatrical skills, with a karaoke stage and Thai dance performances*. Arts and crafts classes are hosted weekly, including batik painting, candle making, origami, kids' yoga and "Cooking for Kiddos", which allows children to channel their inner master chef.

For older children, a PlayStation Room offers a selection of age-appropriate PS4 games, and children's movies are also available. This is perfect for the weekly "Parents' Night Off", which allows mums and dads to enjoy some quality time together from 6pm to 10pm every Thursday.

Panya & Yim's Junior Camp is staffed by Santiburi Koh Samui's skilled "fun-buddies" and the facility can host kids from four years-old upwards. A children's toilets and a toddler napping room are available, and the camp can also provide nanny services on request.

"At Santiburi, we understand the challenges and joys associated with family travel. We want to make it easier for parents to relax during their vacation, safe in the knowledge that their kids are energised and entertained," says Sabine G Lamberts, General Manager, Santiburi Koh Samui.

"At Panya & Yim's Junior Camp our young guests will be thrilled by the wide range of games, crafts and activities on offer. Our aim is to give children new skills and wonderful memories that will last a lifetime," she adds.

Set in 23 acres of landscaped tropical gardens with a spectacular 300-metre-long stretch of private beach, Santiburi offers a wealth of activities and amenities, including a large sports centre, tennis courts, water sports, the Santiburi Spa and an 18-hole golf course.

The launch of Panya & Yim's Junior Camp means that young guests can now enjoy the resort just as much as their parents do. All ages can come together and discover daytime activities such as bicycle rides and jungle treks, before enjoying unforgettable family evenings at one of Santiburi Koh Samui's popular Thai and International restaurants.
