Tips and Tricks for Taking Inspiring Photos by Top Travel Influencers
Four bloggers share techniques and experience behind their success with finalists of AXA Insurance 'Know You Can' photo contest

There is a story behind every picture. Often, it's a tale of the man behind the lens filled with his memory, hope and dream when pressing the shutter. Below are tips on how to take an inspiring photo shared by top travel bloggers during the recent photography workshop with finalists of AXA Insurance 'Know You Can' photo contest as well as their motivating and empowering stories.

"Taking a meaningful and powerful photograph is not only about technique. It is also about mindset and confidence," Satita Sorassa or Ta of Travelista who is also Vice President of Association of Thai Tourism Marketing (ATTM), Assistant President of Tourism Council of Thailand (TCT), and a member of Media and Blogger Club said. A former news editor at The Nation Group who, eight years ago, turned to be a first-generation blogger believed that her dream of becoming a photographer and a blogger would come true.

Travelista page owner said photography and blogging techniques can be learned. "A 'Know You Can' concept can be well applied here. Everyone is different and unique. Anyone can be a Unicorn startup with a billion dollars business. Anything is possible."

"You must believe in 'Know You Can' concept. Know it in your own heart that you can make it happen. Have passion, hold on to your dream and keep going toward it every day. I strongly believe that one can always find time to do what one loves," Seeroong Pongpanich or Roong of Unseen Tour Thailand fan page said.

Taking a truly inspiring photograph requires three key components. First, be true to your style and create a sense of self in a portrait. Second, follow emotions arising at time of shutter pressing. Third, use focal point technique for eye-catching effect. In addition, using new and fresh angles or unseen locations can capture viewers' attention.

Moreover, the bloggers emphasize importance of a caption or a description of any photograph. "The first three lines are imperative. A photo caption must be short, concise, and catchy. In the same manner as news article, photo caption must answer the question of who, what, when, where, why, Prapas Jarosrum or Tik of 'KinKamTui TaluiTiew' explained. "When I first started my page, I had very few followers. However, I was not discouraged because I firmly believed that one day success would come."

In short, being true to yourself, believing in your power, and not giving up are key success factors, said Warut Ownnopparatpiboon or Kor, a founder of tieweg.com website that specializes in Europe trips and a writer of the best-selling 'Scandinavian Travel' guidebook.

"In my page, I focus on reality and provide practical reviews. I explain each option thoroughly so followers can apply them in their realife trips. For those of you who have dream, whatever you do, be true to yourself. I am a successful blogger today because of my high-quality work that comes directly from my direct and in-depth experience," Warut added.

These are all the tips and tricks from top travel influencers guarantee to enhance your next photograph as well as your life. Just like AXA Insurance brand promise "Know You Can", the empowering concept can help people feel more confident to achieve their goals and realize their dreams."
