The 26th Safety Day emphasizes safety standard of PTTs petroleum terminals.

Abiding by quality, safety, occupational health and environment standard in every working process as well as cultivating safety awareness to local community and children.

This morning (15 June 2017) at Nakhon Sawan oil terminal, Mr. Thanakom Chongchira, the governor of Nakhon Sawan presided over "The 26th Safety Day of Petroleum Terminal Operations, Oil Business Unit Opening Ceremony with Mr.Sarun Rungkasiri, Chief Operation Officer, Downstream Petroleum Business Group and Mr.Auttapol Rerkpiboon, Senior Executive Vice President, Oil Business Unit, PTT Public Company Limited. This event had an aim to make local community and children understand safety, emergency responding and PTT's operation under a standard of quality, safety, occupational health and environment.

The 26th Safety Day of Petroleum Terminal Operations or Safety Day has been held annually at PTT's petroleum terminals around Thailand. These activities include safety exhibition and demonstrationsuch as fire extinguishment and valve closing of LPG gas tank in case of emergency shown as a guideline for people who can apply in their daily life.

Not only safety exhibitions and useful demonstrations, there're also other activities in Safety Day such as selling products from local community in Nakhon Sawan, granting 18 scholarships to students from 3 schools, moreover, donation of 100 traffic cones to government agencies for enhancing road safety.

Mr. Sarun Rungkasiri stated that "organizing a 2017 safety day is a good opportunity for PTT to remind PTT staff and community of safety which is a vital key in working and living peacefully. Because community around working place is considered PTT's family member, we dedicate ourselves to continuously responsible for society in quality, safety, occupational health and environment to forsustainability of community and society.
