Thailand Creative & Design Center (TCDC), in cooperation with the Association of Siamese Architects Under Royal Patronage, invites you to trace the revolutionary period of Thai architecture in an exhibition entitled “KEEPING UP — Modern Thai Architect 1967-1987”. The exhibition is divided into three chronological parts, namely “Bangkok in Pursuit of Modernity”, “Modern City Dwellers”, and “Tycoons Go Skyscraping”, each of which has taken important roles in the period of transition where avant-garde western architecture emerged amid the rows of commercial terraced houses and expansive paddy fields that formed Bangkok landscape of the old days. The “KEEPING UP — Modern Thai Architect 1967-1987” exhibition runs from 12 June through to 14 September 2008, between 10.30 — 21.00 hours (closed on Mondays) at the Exhibit Room 2, Thailand Creative & Design Center (TCDC), 6th floor of the Emporium Shopping Complex.
