BCI Asia Awards 2017 sponsored by Gyproc for 3rd straight year recognizes the best architects and developers in Asia

Thai Gypsum Products Public Company Limited, the manufacturer of gypsum innovations over 45 years and of the leading brand Gyproc, continued its sponsorship of the BCI Asia Awards 2017 for the third consecutive year. The award presentation ceremony was held at Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at Central World, and it enjoyed the participation of many highly respected people in the real estate, design and construction sectors. At the awards event, Gyproc also hosted booth activities to showcase its latest products which include the highlight product "Gyproc® HabitoTM", the first gypsum board that allows loads of up to 15kg fixed to the wall, and an updated range of gypsum products and integrated design and construction solutions.

BCI Asia Awards has grown over the years to become one of the most highly coveted architectural awards in Asia. The awards provide an overview of the regional building and construction industry by recognizing the top architectural firms and developers that had the greatest impact on the built environment across the region. It is a prestigious label of excellence that recognises the ten leading design and development enterprises that have made the greatest contribution.

Gyproc organized booth activities at the awards to showcase products and integrated design and construction solutions. Key highlighted products included Gyproc® HabitoTM, a high-strength drywall solution for fixing loads up to 15kg to the wall (this product offers five times the durability and damage resistance compared to standard walls); Gyproc® Activ' Air, a high performance board consisting of an aerated gypsum core with other additives encased within; Gyproc® Magnetic Plaster, ideal for children's play areas or the home office workstation, a newly formulated plaster that transforms normal walls into magnetic areas whilst also covering cracks effectively; Gyproc® Glasroc H OCEAN, a smart 'Moisture and Mould Resistant' gypsum board, developed for usage in wet and high-humidity areas and Gyproc Gyptone®, a ceiling board for the best sound insulation possible. Together, they provide innovative, high quality solutions which meet the needs of customers and installers.
