With its passion to create for the better (Passion for Better), SCG has introduced HOME BUDDY Application to help make the processes of building, fixing and renovating a home easy, convenient and worry-free for home owners in the digital era by giving 24-hours services matching with customer's needs in every stage of their life. The company has also unveiled new home innovations that help create cool and comfort living condition by using building materials certified with the Energy Efficiency Label No. 5, as well as Active Airflow System that helps facilitate ventilation allowing for fast and effective heat removal from homes.

Mr. Nithi Patarachoke, Vice President-Building Products & Distribution Business, SCG Cement-Building Materials, revealed that the company remains committing to innovating products and services as the integrated home living solutions by finding out latent needs of customers so that the company can truly cater to their demands. The goal is to uplift the quality of living and enhance convenience, using the concept "Passion for Better", which is the company's promise and commitment to create better things.

SCG has revolutionized modern living solutions by launching Home Buddy Application that seamlessly connects its online and offline touchpoints of the home building process. The platform plays as the digital companion for home owners by offering supports throughout customer's journey in home construction, fixing and renovation, allowing customers to live a more convenient and worry-free life. The provided are supports such as consultation on home problems, contractor finding, project management, as well as SCG Family points collection and redemption.

This application will be integrated with other digital platforms that have previously been launched such as SCG Online Store and Digital Payment Solution, a collaboration with several business partners to make shopping and paying for products even more convenient.

SCG also truly understands customer's pain points for a convenient, fast and efficient communication channel. The company then has developed the AI technology and introduced a chatbot using frequently-asked questions to create a database to provide automatic answers to customers about product names, home-related questions, GPS-enabled store locations,   as well as an ability to direct the customer's query to a service staff in nearby areas to assist the customer in case they want to visit a store. The service is available 24 hours a day via SCG Line Official account in order to efficiently serve customers' needs.

In terms of innovative solutions, SCG has gone a step further by launching the home innovations that combine digital technology for smart living at the Architect Expo 2018 to be held in May 1-6, 2018. These innovations include: Cool and comfort home innovations include SCG roofing products and thermal insulation that were certified the Energy Efficiency Label No. 5 coupled with Active Airflow System helping ventilate homes and reduce built-up heat. Another new innovation, Well Air System, helps control air quality in the home by using a smart control system to control humidity, temperature, carbon dioxide and VOCs at healthy levels.

SCG ROOF – innovative roofing systems that address all needs, preventing leakage,   built-up heat, and damage. Several roofing systems are available for each segment; for example, anti-heat roofs with performance levels from silver, gold and platinum. In addition, free cost estimation is provided, and new installation can be done online via Google Earth in order to make life more convenient for customers.   "Moreover, SCG has continued to build on our innovative solutions for the elderly with SCG Eldercare Solutions.
