Bangkok--13 Jul--MQDC
Whizdom Station Ratchada-Thapra condominium in Thonburi has received a prestigious “Gold” TREES rating for sustainability from the Thai Green Building Institute (TGBI).

This exclusive designation in the TREES “New Construction” (NC) category reaffirms the green values of MQDC and its youthful Whizdom brand, which offers connected, eco-friendly, high-tech lifestyles at some of Bangkok’s hippest districts.

Mr. Visit Malaisirirat, CEO of MQDC, said: “MQDC and Whizdom are delighted to gain a prestigious TREES rating from TGBI. It reflects our vision of 'For All Well-Being’, working for the well-being of both people and the rest of nature.

“Under our strategy of 'sustainnovation’, we seek new ways to achieve well-being and sustainability. MQDC is proud to meet the rigorous requirements of TGBI. Certification helps us benchmark our designs to enhance quality of life for all living beings.”

Mr. Assada Kaeokhiao, President of the Whizdom brand at MQDC, said that Whizdom would continue driving new levels of sustainability in property development.

“Whizdom’s sustainable values can be seen in Whizdom Station Ratchada-Thapra, where residents live happy, healthy, sustainable lifestyles with green spaces plus great transport and a walkable neighborhood on their doorstep,” he said.

“By curating a complete lifestyle, Whizdom elevates urban living in every aspect. We believe that humankind will find sustainable well-being when the rest of nature can also thrive.”

At 1 minute from Talad Phlu BTS station, Whizdom Station Ratchada-Thapra is at the heart of historic Thornburi. The 37-story condominium channels the quarter’s ancient serenity through modern design and sustainable, health-enhancing technology, such as MQDC Home Intelligent Systems and energy recovery ventilation (ERV).

To offer its sustainable lifestyle, Whizdom Station Ratchada-Thapra puts its residents at the heart of a buzzing district with a host of amenities on their doorstep. Onsite features for well-being include an arrival courtyard, a grand lobby, an infinity-edge pool, a fitness center, a green courtyard, a pool bar, a sunrise terrace, a tunnel garden, a glasshouse sky lounge, and a co-working space with an e-library.     TREES (Thai’s Rating of Energy and Environmental Sustainability) is an assessment by the Thai Green Building Institute (TGBI). For new construction (TREES-NC) there are 8 key categories: building management (BM), site & landscape (SL), water conservation (WC), energy & atmosphere (EM), material & resources (MR), indoor environmental quality (IE), environmental protection (EP), and green innovation (GI).

TREES ratings are given in “Platinum”, “Gold”, “Silver”, and “Certified”. A “Gold” classification is outstanding for a condominium building.

TGBI launched TREES to help guide the construction industry to design and construct architecture that is environment friendly and can increase occupant well-being and productivity comprehensively. Buildings using this rating system are expected to consume less energy, have less environmental impact, and produce less pollution while increasing quality of life for their occupants.

Whizdom’s impressive environmental record also includes a TREES “Gold” for Whizdom Avenue Ratchada-Ladprao, a 27-story condominium at Ladprao MRT Station.
