Monday 18 May 2009 10:13
The Department of Skill Development, Microsoft Thailand and Kenan Institute Asia have announced their collaboration in a three-year framework agreement to be known as the ‘BETTER’ project - or ‘Building Employability Through Technology and Entrepreneurship Resources’, to equip more Thai workers with the skills they need to ensure they enjoy a sustainable and successful career.

The project aims to help more Thai people become employable by reaching out to both new workers and those already in the workforce and providing them with valuable ICT skills training using the Microsoft Unlimited Potential Community Learning Curriculum and Microsoft Digital Literacy. The training also covers entrepreneurship and gives advice on how participants may use ICT to give their entrepreneurial ideas a leading edge. All those who pass the curriculum will receive a certificate issued by the Department of Skill Development and Microsoft Thailand, while Microsoft will also work with Ezyjob.com to help participants post their resumes online and ultimately land their ideal job.
