Mr. Poonsit Wongthawatchai (2nd from right), Krungsri Executive Vice President, Head of ESG Division, was invited to COP29 where he showcased the exemplary Krungsri SME Transition Loan initiative at the Thailand Pavilion forum titled "Financing the Transition: Empowering SMEs and Sustainable Development through Green and Blue Financing" to support SMEs, fundamental to the country's decarbonization success, in thriving in the net-zero transition.

Held recently in Baku, Azerbaijan, COP29, standing for the 29th Conference of the Parties of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, was an annual momentous summit featuring prominent experts and distinguished figures in the fields of climate action and sustainability discussed how to limit and prepare for future climate change. This year in particular, the global climate summit, attended by over 50,000 delegates, centered around new climate finance goal for developing countries, with the promise of climate justice and equity.
