Mr. Thanawat Trivisvavet, Managing Director of CKPower, stated receiving the CSR-DIW Continuous Award for the third consecutive year highlights our unwavering commitment to operating under the C-K-P Strategy, which integrates all dimensions of sustainability: environmental (C - Clean Electricity), social and community
(K - Kind Neighbor), and governance and business resilience (P - Partnership for Life). This strategy drives our efforts to deliver clean and reliable electricity, build strong relationships with communities, and establish long-lasting partnerships with all stakeholders. Under this framework, BIC has leveraged its expertise to implement impactful initiatives, including the 'Clean Canals, United Communities for a Better Environment' project. This initiative involves installing solar-powered water turbines to treat water for the Ban Lane community in Bang Pa-In District, Ayutthaya Province. This project has provided 1,400 watts of renewable energy to the community while educating over 250 children, youth, and residents on renewable energy and environmental management. Additionally, CKPower promotes employee well-being through the 'Calories for Happiness' program, which encourages regular exercise. These efforts align with our comprehensive stakeholder engagement approach and are in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The CSR-DIW Continuous Award underscores the adherence to CSR standards across seven dimensions: organizational governance, human rights, labor practices, environmental stewardship, fair operating practices, consumer focus, and community involvement. This recognition affirms CKPower's dedication to advancing its business while creating enduring value for communities and the environment.
