Bangchak Sriracha Refinery Achieves ISO Certifications Across 4 Standards in 2024

Mr. Anuwat Rungruangrattanagul, Senior Executive Vice President, Refinery & Operation of Bangchak Sriracha Company Limited (BSRC), received the ISO certificates from Mr. Jongrak Rojpalasatean, President of Management System Certification Institute (Thailand) or MASCI. The Bangchak Sriracha Refinery, located in Sriracha, Chonburi, has marked a significant milestone by obtaining 4 ISO standard certifications simultaneously this year.

  • ISO 14001: 2015 - Environmental Management System
  • ISO 45001: 2018 - Occupational Health and Safety Management System
  • ISO 50001: 2018 - Energy Management System
  • ISO/ IEC 27001: 2022 - Information Security Management System

Reflecting on this accomplishment, Mr. Anuwat said, "ISO standards represent globally recognized benchmarks of excellence. Achieving certification across four areas within a single year is the tremendous success and source of great pride for all our employees. Around the end of 2023, BSRC officially became part of Bangchak Group, and within just one year, we have successfully aligned our operations with these international standards. This achievement highlights our strong foundation as we transitioned from a leading global oil company standard to internationally recognized benchmarks. It also reinforces BSRC's ongoing commitment to progress and sustainable growth."

The certificate presentation ceremony was held on 16 December 2024, at Bangchak Sriracha Refinery. MASCI praised BSRC for its visionary leadership and clear mission, which translated into effective implementation and goal attainment. The institute also commended the refinery's adoption of innovative technologies to enhance operational efficiency. BSRC's success was further attributed to its highly skilled workforce, a knowledge-sharing environment, and a robust organizational culture that bridges the gap between experienced professionals and younger employees.
